Posts: 1 11/15/2009 12:52 PM	Tags : None Hello All, I will placing an order for a new '10 Gamefish 24 in the spring. I have a few questions that I would like to ask. I am considering ordering the boat with a hull color. Does a colored hull require more maintainence / upkeep than a standard white hull? Will a colored hull will tend to show more dockrash etc., than a white hull? Is it better to order the optional spray shield and gull wings with the boat (factory installed) or can these items be easily installed at a later date? Any ideas on what a good price would be for a GF24 package (boat, yami 250, t-top, double axel aluminum trailer). Thanks in advance!

Color fades somewhat fast and yes colored is more proned to showing imperfections. After market curtains can be done after the purchase and probably a little cheaper. I believe you will pay a little more in the spring due to the beginning of boating season, but a good deal would be 42-45K. Shop around, you can find a good deal. Good luck!

Posts: 9 11/18/2009 6:35 PM	Florida Boat Tops in St Petersburg, FL. They were recommended by one of the local Sea Hunt dealers. They claim that they created the first enclosures with wings way back when. (I don't know if that's true.....but somebody had to be the first..right?) They also used to be the OEM manufacturer for the Mako and Intrepid t-top enclosures. 727-525-7733. Ask for Tim. $700 plus tax, installed. They install all snaps, buttons, slides, pulls, etc. They are a custom shop. I left my boat (232 Triton) with them for a few days. I assume you would need to do the same. My cover was customized for the t-top, which might not be the same as yours. I couldn't be happier. The thing is ridiculously easy to put on and take off.

Posts: 9 11/20/2009 12:31 AM	Actually...I've been so busy lately that I have yet to use the enclosure. I just had it made two or three weeks ago. But I can say that my blood has thinned out quite a bit living in Florida. I was out in the beginning of October kingfishing. The air was 70. The water was 80. The wind picked up to 20 out of the North. It was only a matter of time before my wife and I were soaked and freezing. Not fun. Hopefully, I won't have to repeat days like that. But you're right, if you pick your days, you don't need the enclosure in Florida.

Still, I'll be giving them a call to see what other options are out there.Once again, thanks for the feedback.
